Book Review:
An hour to live, and hour to love is a book written by Richard Carlson and Kristine Carlson. Unfortunately, Richard Carlson died on December 2006 due to pulmonary embolism. This book is about appreciating the people around us and use the time wisely in managing your life between love, works, healthy, and yourself.

In this book, it consists of two sections, which are "An hour to live" by Richard Carlson and "An hour to love" by Kristine Carlson. About "An hour to live," Richard Carlson describes life is too short and always take the matters as the priority to deal with it.Hence, it is necessary for us to make choice to think the type of living that we want in our own life.  Next, Kristine Carlson, who is his wife, Richard Carlson has expressed his gratitude to his wife in his entire life because of his tragic death in the year 2006.

In "An hour to love" by Kristine Carlson, the writer writes her sincere to her husband and as the gift to herself and her daughters, Jasmine and Kenna. It reflects the relationship between Richard and Kristine will forever go on even though Richard has passed away.

Next, "Tomorrow Never Come" by Norma Cornett Marek, is meaningful to readers:
So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?

For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day
That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss,
And you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear,
That you love them so much, and you'll always hold them dear.
Take time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "thank you" or "it's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

My thoughts:

In this book, I like the writers share their gratitude and appreciation in the relationship. Meanwhile, it provides the reasonable point that we should don't care too much about small stuff that will steal our joy and happiness in life. When in crossroads of life, imagine that we have one day or month to live, what are the important things that we wish to do is meaningful to us to select the clear direction to move forward? With this questions, our mind and heart will clear about the living that we should have today. In the relationship, an argument between spouse in this competitive environment is inevitable.  If break up is the solution, why not thinking about the starting point in this relationship and others that still in single life? Overall, the book has provided persuasive advice for readers to learn to appreciate everything in life!

Recommendation:

I think this book is suitable for everyone to seek to self-improvement and motivation in living. The page contents are simple and concise, so it is totally easy for readers to revise their life direction by stating their purpose of living.
