Last month, my colleagues have conducted a team building activity at Rumah Kebun. It is a villa near Hulu Langat, Selangor. About this destination, it is surrounded by green forest which far away from big city. It has a swimming pool and a clean river for people to swim and play water games. The swimming pool is quite unique when the sunlight refracted into the swimming pool, you can see swimming pool is in blue color and when you match it to the green forest, you can enjoy the green scenery with the flow of water.
My colleagues and I arrived at the destination at 5.30 pm. When I walking inside the accommodation, it is clean, neat and tidy. All of the utensils, refrigerator, towels, and so on are provided by the owner. It has 2 rooms on the second floor and 3 rooms on the ground floor. Males are suggested to stay on the top floor because the bathroom is open air to the outside without concealed by wall or partition while the bathrooms at ground floor have concealed by the wall. Anyway, both of the bathrooms can be locked. Meanwhile, there is no ceiling near the stairs because it can let the air come inside to make the environment inside feel cool and to match the GO green environment theme. To me, the entire accommodation can allow roughly 10-20 people to stay and rest.

About the environment outside, it has a barbecue area, swimming pool, campfire zone, and river. We brought our own foods for our own colleagues to help to bake at the barbecue area. We brought fish, chicken, junk foods, beverages, fruits and so on (Alcoholic or non-halal food is prohibited). All of the utensils used for barbecue is already prepared by the owner (if you request the owner). Therefore, we no need to bring the utensils to the destination. While waiting for the foods ready, we talk and clean up all of the utensils at the same time before serving the foods prepared by our colleagues. We talk and enjoy the foods at the same time until the campfire is ready. For the campfire zone, if you have requested the owner to prepare campfire in the night, the owner will inform the housekeeper come and help to set up at 8.30 pm or 10.00 pm (it depends on your timetable).
The evening view of the environment is nice and beautiful. The swimming pool and the river is clean. When the cold wind blowing, it makes you feel calm and refreshes while you are sitting around the environment.
Once the campfire is set up by the housekeeper, we play games and talk with each other until midnight. We are playing games about guessing the characteristics of our team members and have a sharing session between each other to enhance the positive relationship. After the campfire activities, we have a night talk and then go to rest. During the night, the environment is cool, comfortable, and peaceful.
In the next day morning, we have a breakfast and photo session together. Afterwards, we collate our own stuff and go back home. Before I leave, I have captured a lot of photos about the morning view of the destination which are nice and attractive! Frankly, this place is worth to go for those who want to conduct family or friends gathering and love natural forest.
Things to take note:
- Alcoholic drinks and nonhalal foods are not allowed to serve at the villa
- The bathroom on the top floor is open air to the outside
- You need to pass a little slope before reaching in front of the villa

DeleteKamu tak perlu bayar kalau kamu nak melawat luar tempat sana tetapi kamu tak boleh melawat kawasan dalam rumah kecuali kamu nak buat tempahan. Kamu boleh jalan-jalan dekat luar kawasan sana dan tidak semestinya nak tidur sana.Kalau nak berenang dekat kolam air sana, kamu kena telefon owner sana sebab kolam air itu bukan kolam awam dan kolam air itu cuma untuk orang yang buat tempahan rumah sana sahaja kalau tak silap. Pada cadangan saya, kamu boleh buat tempahan rumah sana bersama keluarga atau kawan-kawan kerana tempat sana biasanya untuk menjalankan aktiviti team building atau family gathering. Terima kasih.
