In our life, I believe
that most of you have admired, respected, loved, or saluted persons that bring
inspiration or motivation for you to keep moving forward and breakthrough
obstacles in order to succeed in life. We wish to meet and talk with them in
order to appreciate their success side. To me, if I can invite 3 people to
dinner, I will invite Robin Sharma, Bi Rain, and Stephen Chow. This is because of their contribution to their own career has made a big inspiration for everyone
to pursue their own dream.
Robin Sharma is a
motivation speaker and writer from Canada. One of his book series about From
the Monk who sold his Ferrari has inspired many people around the world to
pursue their own dream by leading thyself toward extraordinary. The reason that
I wish to dinner with him is because I want to ask about the contradiction
between money and dream. I realized that certain people working for money
rather than their own dream. The reason behind is they have faced failure many
times. Without any option, they have to give up their own dream to work for
money to live. For example, the person love to write, but none of the company
want him, he lacks of money and sacrifice most of his time but he still not
success at all in the end. When nearly
30 years, without any option, he has to go to work to earn money for living.
Therefore, I want to know how Robin will response to this question for younger
generation to face these challenges and risks and how to make a wise turning
point to them for better living.
Bi Rain is a South
Korean singer, dancer, actor, and music composer. Most of his albums have sold
more than 1 million copies across the world and he won many awards in the music and
film industry. The reason that I wish to dinner with him is because I really
impressed with his passion and enthusiasm in his works by making dream become
reality as an entertainer. Besides that, I will ask him a question about if you
are not entertainer today, what would you do? I will ask him this question is
because most of the people today put a lot of effort into their works but it
cannot become reality due to society and parental pressure. I want to know how
Rain will answer this question to me as an admonition.
The last one is Stephen
Chow, an actor, film director and producer from China. I wish I can dinner with
him is because I want to know if became a director but there is no financial
sustainability behind, would he still continue his career. This is because there
are many life advice from motivational speakers or successful people to persuade
people to pursue their own dream but sometime it needs huge financial resources
and support. Sometimes, the film does not generate profits for your works. For
example, people upload videos to Youtube to earn passive income but if there are
no profits generated from Youtube, but you like to do it, would you still
proceed with it or give up?
In conclusion, here are
the persons that I wish to dinner with them in my life. Frankly, success is a
journey and not an endpoint in our life. To me, there is no fixed route to
success and it depends on us how to plan our strategy to make it happens. Even
if their answer is not within my expectation, I know the answer deep down
inside which is, if you can chase your own dream, never give up, keep in faith
and make it happens, if you cannot chase your own dream, don’t feel frustrated
because life is full of hope and opportunity.
many times we meet a famous, interesting or knowledgeable people who achieved something but we don`t ask them anything... we think about it more and use this chance!
