Few months ago, my friends and I went to Genting Highlands Skyworlds for 2 days 1 night. My last visit to Genting Highlands Skyworlds is in the year 2017, there are many changes inside shopping mall, indoor and outdoor theme park currently. I reached the destination at night and as usual, it is crowded with a lot of tourists.
Frankly, this destination is good to go if you want to enjoy the cold weather and like to experience the indoor and outdoor game with your friends and family. The reason that I travel to Genting Highlands Skyworlds again is because the outdoor theme park is opened for everyone access and I want to see any big changes about the theme park as compared to before. On the first day, I went to Skyavenue and have a walk around indoor theme park.
Skyavenue
While walking to Rooftop, you can see the cafe, pub, and restaurant is crowded with people and it is not deny that it is the good place to go if you enjoy city night life bustling with noise and excitement lively.
Frankly, the night view of Genting Highlands is really nice.
Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park
While walking around indoor theme park, I saw inside got Ferris Wheel, Stormy Voyage, Aeroboat and so on. The environment inside is colorful theme background and it is good option that you can bring your family or cousins to play the game inside.
On the second day, my friends and I went to the outdoor theme park. After bought the entry ticket (Adult ticket price= RM 150.00, the price may amend), we start to plan which game we want to experience it in priority. Due to our tight schedule, we select and play the outdoor game randomly. The outdoor theme park consists of different theme and background, so it is suggest to take the road map and refer the directory if you wish to go the location to play the game or take photos.
Andromeda Base
This place is theme with spaceship and I have played the Alpha Fighter Pilot and Terra Form Tower Challenge. About Alpha Fighter Pilot, it is 360 Degree rotation and you will feel exciting and a little dizzy because this game duration is around 3-4 minutes and it is keep rotating.
About Terra Form Tower Challenge, it is rising up and down game with high speed and if you like to challenge yourself, you can try this game because you cannot estimate when the speed is fast or slow down.
Central Park
In the central park, I went to Independence Day: Defiance and Night at the museum station. About the Independence Day: Defiance, it is strongly recommend to play because the visual and sound effects really nice! This game has storyline about the spaceship war between Alien and Human, you can experience the flight motion, 3D effect, and thrill during the war.
About Night at the museum station, if you are fans of this movie series, this station is good to go because inside all of the statue, character and storyline is related to Night at the museum movie.
Meanwhile, depend on the station that you go, there got a souvenir shop nearby the outdoor game, if you want to buy some items keep it as souvenir, you can visit the shop inside.
Ice Age
In the Ice Age station, I went to Sid's Playhouse. Inside the Playhouse, you can watch the show performed by Ice Age characters. Meanwhile, I also walk around the Ice Age station. If you like to watch Ice Age movie series, don't miss out this station, because this station is using Ice Age as the theme background.
Epic
In Epic station, this station is theme with flora. I played game Epic Voyage to Moonhaven and Epic Hummingbird Flyers. About the Epic Voyage to Moonhave, it is boot ride inside the cave and you can see many cartoon characters inside.
About Epic Hummingbird Flyers, it is about water ride that you can control your own Hummingbird up and down while the game started.
Other
Afterwards, due to limited time, I have walk around other station to take the photo such as Rio, Robot Rivet Town, Eagle Mountain and Liberty Lane. Frankly, all of the stations are good to take personal or group photo because of the nice building design and colors.
All in all, Genting Highlands Skyworlds theme park have made many changes in indoor and outdoor games, environment, and facility. If you want to have a short escape with your friends or family during weekend, this place is good to go because you are not only can enjoy the cold environment in Genting Highlands, you can also experience the indoor and outdoor game inside the theme park.
